Hello,
I'm Paul, an Adobe Certified instructor specialising in Indesign
and Incopy training for editors, designers and pre-press
professionals – showing you the most efficient and creative
ways to work professionally with the software.
With over
20 years experience in training, as well as offering courses
for beginners, I offer migration training for those moving
from other software to Indesign. In 2004/5 I
trained over 1500 designers and editors at Emap as they succesfully
migrated 109 newspapers and magazines from QuarkXpress to InDesign.
Part of this project was to create Best Practice Guidelines
plus online training notes and videos. I
have also written training books for BBC New Media. In 2008/9
I trained at the Daily Express on a Woodwing/Indesign/Incopy
workflow then then in 2010 gave training and support to the
Archant Newspaper group as they implemented an Atex Content
Management System for both print and web across 59 local newspapers. I
am currently working at the Sunday Times
as they move the paper on to the iPad
using an InDesign/Woodwing Digital Magazine workflow.
Prior to becoming a trainer I worked as a
Designer and Senior Editor and still run Digital Dimensions,
a design company, based in West Sussex. I have an honours
degree in Education and am a Member of the Chartered institute
of Personnel and Development.
If you are looking for InDesign or InCopy training
or consultancy about your workflows please get in
contact. I offer quality training at very affordable rates
for individuals, groups and organisations. |
